bttr Living provides Independent Living Services for adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, epilepsy, and other developmental disabilities across the Bay Area.

Funded through Regional Center services or the Self Determination Program when approved through the person's IPP.

Daily living skills

Support with routines, cooking, cleaning, laundry, home organization, hygiene reminders, meal planning, and everyday independence at home.

Money and benefits skills

Coaching for budgeting, shopping, bills, SSI awareness, CalABLE basics, price comparison, banking routines, and safer spending habits.

Community independence

Practice with errands, public transportation, BART, buses, appointments, shopping, community safety, social outings, and self advocacy.

Families can speak with their Regional Center Service Coordinator or Independent Facilitator and request bttr Living as the provider. A referral, approved goals, and service authorization are usually needed before services begin.
