Contact bttr
bttr Living was built around one idea. Every adult, regardless of ability, deserves real support from people who genuinely care. We focus on dignity, independence, and meaningful outcomes for adults with developmental disabilities throughout California.
Learn about bttrHow services begin.
Seven steps from first contact to your first day of services. We handle the coordination, you stay informed at every step.
-
Referral
Your service coordinator or independent facilitator sends us the referral, but it starts with you. Tell them you want bttr Living, and they will send it over.
Led by you, sent by your coordinator or facilitator.
-
Connect
We reach out, introduce ourselves, answer your questions in plain language, and set a time to meet that works for you.
A quick, friendly first conversation.
-
Assess
We meet you at home or in the community to learn your goals, routines, and strengths, and what a good day looks like for you.
At your pace, on your terms.
-
Plan
We write your individual service plan around your goals and review it with you and your family before anything moves forward.
Nothing is final until you agree.
-
Approval
Your regional center authorizes services, or your FMS approves the line in your spending plan. We stay on top of it and keep you updated.
We follow up so you do not have to.
-
Your Team
We match you with a support professional chosen with you, not for you, and introduce your team before the first session.
You help choose who you work with.
-
Begin
Services start. You receive regular session notes, and your team is a message away whenever you need us.
Your first day, with everything in place.
